Do you want to enjoy the blue sky and the warm sun ? Ibiza is a fabulous location to relax. What can you see in Ibiza? Santa Eulalia: Ibiza isn’t all about riotous nightlife, as you’ll discover at a popular family resort on the east coast of the island, around 15 kilometres northeast from Ibiza Town. Nearly all of the resort’s seafront is golden sandy beach, and with the bulk of the resort right behind there’s loads of shops and eateries to make your day a little more comfortable. There’s also a pretty little promenade running behind, decorated with wrought-iron lampposts and benches beneath the lush fronds of palm trees. Ibiza’s only golf course is also right next to this resort should you crave a round, and the weekly Las Dalias Hippie Market takes place a few minutes away in San Carlos in Saturdays. Also try climbing the Puig de Missa hill to see the cute old church at the top.

On the northernmost coast of the island is Portinatx, a resort with three spectacular beaches. The largest is the sandy S’Arenal Gros, and the other two more private, less crowded options are S’Arenal Petit and Playa Porto. All three boast lifeguards, vendors and sunbeds. While you can just kick back and relax on the beach, Portinatx is very popular with snorkelers and divers thanks to its clear waters. It is a great family spot, and it is the ideal place to begin longer coastal walks. Best of all, most hotels in the area are within a short walk of at least one of the three main beaches.

Located on the West of the island, Cala Comte has a small beach with sun loungers as well as a rocky coastline with plenty of carved flat platforms to base yourselves on for the day – perfect for anyone who loves the sea but hates the sand. The water is shallow too which makes it a great spot to bring kids. Spend all day in the water until sunset, then head up to one of the three restaurants on top of the cliffs to enjoy the wide-lens views of the sun dropping behind the horizon.

Of course, the absolute best way to explore anywhere is to nab yourself a local to show you the ropes. Or maybe, you’re after some backpacking pals to explore the island with.
